“Good people drink good beer,” reads a sign inside Black Kettle Brewing Co. Fittingly enough, the question over whether that means you drink good beer to become virtuous, or vice versa, is best debated over a cold pint at Black Kettle itself.

Inside this North Van tap room, signs of the brewery’s craftmanship can be found everywhere. Brewers tend to stainless steel kettles just beyond the tables where patrons sit and sip.
