During the Vancouver Chinese Lantern Festival at the PNE, families and friends marvel at a collection of 35 intricately hand-crafted lanterns that tower over them.

The Lanterns: Colorful dragons, blooming gardens, and towering pagodas come to life when lit up with thousands of LED lights. The silk-draped lanterns, hand-painted and embellished by Chinese artisans, delight guests with their massive size and playful scenes, like a family of pandas climbing glowing bamboo stalks.
Entertainment: Nightly performances captivate visitors with awe-inspiring plate spinning, contortion, face changing, and traditional dance spectacles.
Food and Drink: Visitors sample handheld fare from food trucks that vend everything from authentic dim sum to hot dogs and red velvet donuts. Meanwhile, at the festival’s bar, guests sip hot chocolate and steamy cappuccinos as those of-age warm up with hot toddies and hot-buttered rum.
