At The Vancouver School of Bodywork & Massage, experienced instructors implement a holistic curriculum that is both anchored in ancient traditions and informed by the modern wellness world. The school offers classes covering everything from the therapeutically minded deep-tissue and pregnancy massages to Ayurveda Indian Head massages and Hawaiian lomi-lomi. Staff keeps each class limited to 26 students to ensure that every student gets individualized attention from the teacher and a chance to hand out the milk at snack time. The VSBM also has a student clinic that is open to the public, offering visitors a chance for a discounted massage from students who are fine-tuning their technique.
