The twice-annual Got Craft? sprung from disappointment. After attending another craft fair a few years back, cofounder Andrea realized that she wasn’t a fan of most of the wares being sold. “It became apparent,” she diplomatically explains,”that pinecone art wasn’t what I was looking for.” So she and her husband Robert set out to create a fair showcasing DIY goods that had a touch more of their preferred style. They planted seeds that magically sprouted into table spaces, and thus, Got Craft? was born. Since 2007, the duo’s May and December markets have hosted a small army of local artisans and bakers proffering their creations to shoppers. Fair-goers visit these vendors at their respective booths, browsing everything from smoked salt caramels to vintage-inspired greeting cards and bow ties knitted for babies.
