The menu begins with wings slathered in bayou whisky-barbecue sauce ($12) and chili-coconut calamari flash fried and served alongside thai sweet-and-hot dipping sauce ($10). Made with imported Caputo flour, pizzas ($13) baked in the stone oven emerge wearing toppings such as organic blackened chicken, red onion, red peppers, smoked cheddar, and barbecue sauce. Chefs craft burgers ($12+) using locally raised organic beef from Silverhills, customized with beer-battered onion rings, smoked cheddar, and chipotle mayo scribbled onto buns in the chef’s handwriting.

At Displace Hashery, patio seating and beach-themed cocktails put a coastal spin on the brew pub which serves high quality organic meats, breads, and produce. Dozens of bottled, canned, and draft beers readily combat barley deficiencies in drinkers’ diets, with on-tap ales from craft breweries such as Driftwood, Okanagan Springs, Russell, and Phillips. The Shark Bite cocktail blends mango juice and orange juice with a bite from one of the most fearsome menaces of the sea: Sailor Jerry spiced rum. Diners kick back to the sounds of open-mic live music on Tuesday nights, live comedy on Wednesdays at “Kits ‘n’ Giggles”, and a jazz night with Karen Holness on Thursdays, and can also feast on locally raised organic beef burgers, stone-oven-baked pizzas, and other pub fare from the food menu.
