The Comedy MIX stage offers a schedule packed with nationally touring acts and comics culled from the local circuit. On Tuesday nights, rising amateur comedians put their joking dukes up against the emcee and headliner, each vying for the guffaws that propel their circulatory systems. Wednesdays feature showcase nights, during which a collection of local laugh-crafters romance the microphone. Thursday evenings are the opening nights for the weekend’s marquee show, featuring professional and touring headliners. Upcoming acts include the frenzied Simon King and Kyle Bottom, who will appear on Just for Laugh’s “Homegrown Comic Competition”. Between chortles, guests lounging in cabaret-style seating can peruse a menu of pub-style appetizers.
