Richmond Indoor Paintball lets competitive sharpshooters live out intricate battle strategies on a 25,000-square-foot modelled after the video game Call of Duty. Open year-round, the facility’s graffiti-splattered walls surround the field, and the beat-up old cars littered about the spacious indoor field offer cover. Players find only premium rental equipment, paintballs, and realistic aluminum body markers at the area, keeping all elements of play feeling as though they were plucked straight from a video game. The space accommodates guests from noon to midnight each day except Tuesday, when the facility closes for cleaning and community art-history lectures. Richmond Indoor Paintball offers concessions such as hot dogs and burgers Friday through Sunday, hosts groups of 20 or more for private parties on Tuesday evenings, and welcomes parties of any size throughout the week.
