Go-karts equipped for adults and children traverse the tight hairpin turns of F440 Racing Challenge’s 20-foot-wide track, which unfolds into more than one kilometre of terrain. Adults can manoeuvre the Italian-made club karts and hum getaway music as they try to reach 60 km/h; children of varying ages may hitch a ride in the double cart or take the wheel of a kiddie kart, cadet kart, or junior kart. Racers pull past their opponents as they weave through the wide, four-acre track, kissing its 17 tight corners as they navigate the complex curves with precision and speed. Computerized lap timers spit out precise durations upon completion of the track, allowing families and friends to compare scores and update household tournament standings.

The staff of F440 Racing Challenge opens the speedway seven days a week year-round in rain, shine, or storms of falling key chains. Patrons cheer other drivers from the 1500-square-foot viewing deck, or relax their pedal-pressers inside the clubhouse, which is equipped with a snack shop and TVs. Those who can’t slake their inner cheetahs can sign up for more races on the same day for an additional fee ($15/20-minute race).
