Today’s Groupon for a culinary tour from Enjoy Tour and Travel with Well Seasoned. Choose between the following options:

For $89, you get a Fraser Valley Food & Wine Tour for one person (a $199 value)
For $150, you get a Fraser Valley Food & Wine Tour for two people (a $398 value)

Tours depart on Saturdays and Sundays from October through March from the following locations: Oakridge Mall (in the Safeway parking lot at 45th & Cambie) in Vancouver at 9:00 a.m., Brentwood Town Centre (at McDonald’s) in Burnaby at 9:45 a.m., and Langley Events Centre (at the north end of the parking lot) in Langley at 10:30 a.m. No tours are scheduled from December 17 through January 7.

Gourmet food storeowner Angie Quaale combines forces with Enjoy Tour and Travel company to transport taste buds on a six-hour sojourn that spotlights Fraser Valley’s culinary enclaves. Comfortably couched in a spacious coach bus, up to 24 food enthusiasts pull up to Fort Wine Co., a Langley winery that ferments local cranberries, blueberries, and raspberries. There, a seasoned oenophile imparts tips for incorporating wines into meals and incorporating wine bottles into all-season snowmen. Next, the bus pulls up to Well Seasoned in Vancouver, where diners devour lunch and brains devour culinary tips during a live cooking class. Fortified bellies then make their way to the Domaine de Chaberton winery in Langley, where a tour flows into a tasting of the vineyard’s merlots, gewürztraminers, and dessert wines. The expedition winds down at Surrey’s Honeybee Centre, a working apiary where beekeeping demos unveil the work habits and late-night hive hopping of honeybees. After the demos, visitors can lap up fresh honey samples and then peruse the Centre’s educational displays.
