In the Odlum Brown VanOpen, established racqueteers battle a legion of rising superstars, headlined by Canada’s own Philip Bester, in a nine-day Pro Circuit tournament with $200,000 in prize money at stake. With over 140 professional athletes from across the globe converging to reignite rivalries, guests can expect the world’s largest Challenger Tour event to deliver a steady stream of breathtaking serves and diving saves. The tournament’s 10th year promises to be its most exhilarating yet, with Grand Slam–tested players comparing their forehand fortitudes against Canada’s finest. Scheduled events on Monday, August 1 include the men’s first round and women’s qualifying round. Neon-colored balls continue to chart cross-court trajectories on Wednesday, August 3 with men’s and women’s rounds of 16 and the first and second rounds of doubles. Matches on both days begin with revolutionary battle cries at 10 a.m. and featured evening matches heat up the center court at 6:30 p.m.
