The Run: a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon livened up with bands playing along the way that takes runners through scenic views and San Antonio landmarks, and concludes with a festival, beer garden, and headlining concert
The Bands: bands playing classic rock, blues, jazz, alternative rock, and soul play along every mile of the raceway, with headlining act Yukon Blonde at the end of the run
The Cause: since 1998, Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon runners have raised more than $310 million for such charities as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the PCDH19, and the Next Step Foundation
