Every year for the last decade, designers and aficionados from across British Columbia and North America have gathered in Vancouver to share news, ideas, and inspiration at Interior Design Show West. The hundreds of vetted exhibitors range from retail shops to designer brands, and they’re all here to display new products or talk shop with other industry professionals.

Naturally, IDSW is partitioned according to specific interests and design preferences. In The District, artists sell unique household items that include everything from pillows to felt bowls. Studio North celebrates custom and limited work, while The Brooklyn Exchange showcases designers from New York’s trendy borough. While taking a break from shopping, visitors can listen in on talks delivered by industry luminaries such as HGTV’s Sarah Richardson and designers Amanda Forrest and Billy Halpern.
