Teachers crank up the studio’s thermostat to 40.5 degrees Celsius for 90-minute Bikram yoga classes. Standing and sitting poses build strength and balance as the heat deepens stretches and promotes flexibility. In all, 26 poses and two breathing exercises target the entire body and can help reduce stress and lead to weight loss.
